With internet hardline in La Estrellita’s bar restored, Show #22 ready to roll – 6/27/2012

After a few weeks of playing “hurry up and wait” with the AT&T tech, AFR and La Estrellita are pleased to share with you all that the internet hardline in the bar has been restored and we are ready to roll with tomorrow night’s show.

R.E.B.L. A’s set to play at Oakland Coliseum on July 26th – 6/23/2012

The Redwood Empire Baseball League A’s

The R.E.B.L. A’s, managed by the LF Bleachers’ Bobby “510 Guy” Tselentis, are set for the second year in a row to play a game at the Oakland Coliseum. AFR cast member Keith “Cpl RF Asshole” Salminen is set to play in the game as ether their 1st baseman or an outfielder. 1st pitch is set to go at 12:30 pm PST as the A’s will take on the Giants, which last year featured Keith Wolff, the son of hated A’s owner Lew Wolff.

The team has 3 roster spots left to fill before the game as of 7/10/2012, so if you are interested in playing, contact the RE.B.L. A’s on their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/reblas.

Dry run of new La E set up set to go before 2nd La E Show

This upcoming Tuesday (5/22) AT&T will be done setting up the internet line that A’s Fan Radio will use during its upcoming La Estrellita shows for the rest of 2012 and the future, as well for use by ether the bar or preformers to stream their shows/events. A dry run is set to take place between the 22nd and the show on June 7th. The plan of looking into putting a permanent camera on one of the pillars in the bar is still being looked into as well.

We will update you once we have the dry run date locked in so we can have listeners view a preview of how the show will look there and to let use know if any thing needs to be tweaked.
