How dare you make a Stomper with a mock San Jose A’s logo when NOTHING IS OFFICIAL YET! We are still waiting to see how you are going to fund your ballpark with no RDA and with Oakland about to put up $3 million for the Coliseum City project.
If your praying for JayCat Lew to save the day for San Jo and pay for it himself, you’re gonna get burned.

Occupy A’s FanFest is being put on as a sign of A’s fans opposition to the proposed move of the Oakland Athletics to San Jose. The goal is to create a presence inside and outside of Oracle Arena on January 29th to show A’s ownership that we, the fans, say no to a move south and that we want the A’s to stAy in OAKLAND!
Things will kick off Saturday January 28th, with the return of the first Bleacher Bum FanFest Camp Out since 2008 at the corner of 66th Ave & Coliseum Way around 10:30 pm PST. Feel free to join us and bring pro Oakland signs to hang up during the night. You all ready know Jorge Leon will have his. Also feel free to bring a grill and/or things to grill. From 10 am – 2 pm PST is when FanFest will take place. There will be a group inside showing support for keeping the team in Oakland as well as a group outside in the parking lot. We are asking all who come to wear ether the Oaklandish “StAy” t-shirt, A’s gear with OAKLAND on it or your own custom designed pro Oakland shirt as our sign of protest.
The final event of the day will be the Occupy FanFest Edition of A’s Fan Radio at the Bleacher Crew Tailgate Spot, located between A & D Gate in the parking lot. We will go over everything A’s related that goes down between now and FanFest as well as get your feed back on what actions need to be taken to keep the A’s in Oakland. This will also be our 1st show in front of a LIVE CROWD since the last show we did at La Estrellita Cafe And Bar in the summer of 2007 during the 1st running of AFR. The show will kick off around 2 pm PST.
We are also asking fans of the Oakland Raiders & Golden State Warriors to join us for this event. Remember, Oakland faces the chance of losing ALL 3 TEAMS NOW! Plans are in the works right now to hold a tailgate/rally event for fans of all 3 Oakland teams at City Hall to lite a fire under Oakland’s leadership to hurry up and get things crackin’ before its too late.

Due to a meeting in regards to Coliseum City that 3 of our cast members (Cpl RFA, Chris Dobbins & Jorge Leon) are attending Thursday night, we will have a rare Friday version of the show, dubed the “Friday the 13th Edition”.
This will be the 1st of our remaining off-season shows in which we will use a 1 1/2 hour format. We will switch back to the 2 hour format after pitcher & catchers report along with the switch back to the every Thursday night format.
Lots to talk about this week, including guest host & long time AFR lister Mike Davie on the subject of the death of RDA and how it effects both the 2 sites in Oakland and the San Jose site, as well as our 2nd Sex & Sports: The Extended Edition, which will kick off about 10-15 minutes after the regular show wraps up.

I’m Nick Badders and I am a 15 years old living in the Bay Area. I’m an A’s Season Ticket Holder in the RF Bleachers and ballhawk at A’s, Ports, Nuts, and Giants games. Here, I write about my experiences going to and snagging balls at Minor League Baseball games.

I’m an Oakland Athletics Season Ticket holder and sit in Section 149 of the Right Field Bleachers. I love going to Major and Minor League baseball games and snagging balls, which I began to do in 2011. To date, I've snagged 165 Minor League Baseballs and 185 Major League Baseballs.
