On 5/3/2012, A’s Fan Radio made its 1st broadcast in over 5 years at the cafe & bar located on the corner of 5th Ave & E 12th St near Downtown Oakland.

The last time any post was made about A’s Fan Radio from this location was the summer of 2007, during the final year of the 1st running of the show. It was great after all this time to come back and do AFR where it all began at La Estrellita Cafe & Bar near Lake Merrit & Laney College in Oakland.

One new feature you will see about A’s Fan Radio this time around is that we will have the cast up on the stage. Plans are in the works for a show banner to hang behind the cast for the webcast videos of the show and other new features in the months to come to enhance the AFR expereance at La E.

We thank Jose and the rest of the crew past & present during the show’s running at the cafe & bar and are looking forward to again working with them having the show here on the final Thursday of each month through September.

The upcoing show dates for La Estrellita are: 5/31, 6/28, 7/26, 8/30 & 9/27. Show will broadcast live in front of live audiance & Ustream Channel from 8 pm – 10 pm PST. Playoff(s?!) dates TBA.
