AFR set to interview Floyd Kephart – 5/10/2015

A’s Fan Radio is pleased to announce that we will interview Floyd Kephart, master developer of Coliseum City, for our next installment of the show! Here is some background on Mr. Kephart:

Mr. Floyd W. Kephart is Chairman of the Board for Metis Financial Network and also serves as Chairman of the Board for The Renaissance Companies. Mr. Kephart has more than 40 years of experience in financial engineering, corporate crisis management, strategic planning, and media and knowledge-based business decision-making. He has worked on major corporate, financial structuring or marketing projects with over 50 major clients including: Columbia/HCA, Sony, Sega, Chrysler, Volkswagen, NBC, ABC, Radio City Music Hall, NFL (Super Bowl), Branson, Mo., Vail Corporation, Producers Entertainment, and Harmony Holdings.

He is a trustee of the Cordell Hull Foundation and a member of the University Club in D.C., the Association of Former Intelligence Officers, the John F. Kennedy Foundation, the Rancho Santa Fe Club, and the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. Mr. Kephart has served on the S.E.C.’s Advisory Commission on Small Capital Formations and numerous corporate boards including Capital Development Corporation (1974-1979), a merchant banking firm, Chairman of Insight Marketing Corporation (1992-1996), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Artists & Entertainment International, Inc. (1987-1997) creating the first on-line, real time sports database company, Sports News Network (SNN), and Chairman of the Board of Leisure Industries (2002-2003).

He served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at SolutionsAmerica, Inc. Mr. Kephart is a Former Chief Executive Officer and President at Mego Financial Corp. Mr. Kephart attended Georgetown University and holds a Bachelor of Science in political science from Middle Tennessee State University.

Kephart’s New City Development LLC group became involved in the Coliseum City project on October 21 of last year. His goal is to keep all 3 of Oakland’s professional teams, yet to this point the Oakland Raiders are the only ones who have shown interest.

We look forward to having Floyd on our show and will do what we can to finally bring some clearness to what has been, for the most part, a media mess covering Coliseum City. Keith “Cpl RF Asshole” Salminen and The Bauce Man will interview Mr. Kephart on Wednesday afternoon. The interview will air during the 2nd hour of Show #135 on Thursday May 15th. We hope that you tune in!
